ITINERARY


Day 01: Bangalore
Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station. Reach & Check- in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Bangalore. The major tourist attractions are Vidhana Soudha, a magnificent building of the Neo-Dravidian style which houses the State Legislature. Ulsoor Lake is ideal for rowing around in a boat or to sprawl on the green grass that surrounds the lake. One can sit and relax on the small islands that are on the lake. Lalbagh, is famous for its unique achievement in nurturing the concept of horticulture and aiding the development of horticulture. Cubbon Park - the uppermost attractions are the marble statues of Queen Victoria and Edward VII.

Day 02 : Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms. - 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Mysore the land with numerous domes, towers and battlements; it is sheer luxury in the form of a palace. Enroute visit Srirangapatanam where one can see the spectacular island fortress of Srirangapatnam, the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. Other attractions at Srirangapatnam are Daria Doulata – Tippu Sultan’s Summer Palace & Gumbuz – Tippu’s Mausoleum. Reach & check-in at the hotel & relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room.

Day 03 : Mysore
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to visit the sprawling Maharaja’s Palace with its outstanding treasures and ivory inlaid doors. Having splendid affair with intricate carvings on the huge palatial doors should not be missed on any account. It is lavishly decorated with stained glasses, mirrors, pillars, paintings and jewels. Also visit St. Philomena’s Church, a beautiful Cathedral reminiscent of Medieval Architecture with stained glass Windows and lofty Towers. Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in the country was established in 19th century and houses many endangered species. Later drive outside the city to Chamundi Hills to visit huge Nandi Bull statue. Explore your evening by proceeding to Brindavan Gardens which is one of its kind in the country and located 19 kms from Mysore. The World Famous Terrace Gardens with Musical Fountains which gets transformed into a dreamland by night with swirling waters, colourful lights and melodious music that comes alive once the sun sets. This ornamental garden is situated at the base of Krishnaraja Sagar dam across Cauvery River.

Day 04 : Mysore – Wayanad (140 kms. - 03 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Wayanad. Check-in & and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed to the scenic Chembra Peak which is sure to rejuvenate any tired soul and make for a thrilling experience.

Day 05 : Wayanad
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to enjoy the greenery & waterfalls of Wayanad. The places of attractions are Pookot Lake & Soochipara WaterFalls. Boating in the Pookot Lake is a memorable experience. Tall trees and dense forests that line along the pathway around the lake provide a visual treat. Soochipara Falls the natural scenic beauty of Wayanad and its rich natural resources offer several opportunities for adventure tourism. Banasura Sagar Dam, the 02nd largest earth dam in Asia where speed boats are also available. Edakkal caves where etchings are found on the walls have drawn serious attention of archeologists and historians worldwide. Other sightseeing places are Pakshipathalam & Meenmutty Water Falls

Day 06 : Wayanad – Kochi (300 kms. – 08 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Kochi, the land having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 07: Kochi – Munnar (158 kms. – 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Proceed for half day sightseeing of Kochi. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry palace/Dutch Palace. Later proceed to Munnar, breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. On the way you can also watch the lovely waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colourful flowers in Blossom Garden. Check-in at your hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore the rest of the day along with the nature.

Day 08 : Munnar
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr. Visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens.

Day 09 : Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms. – 03 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Reach & Check-in at your hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. You can recreate yourself by having optional activities like Spice Plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride.

Day 10: Thekkady – Kumarakom (130 kms. – 03 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing. Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means for transportation is through boats. Kumarakom is blessed with the Vembanad Lake which has its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, as much as can the Siberian storks which migrate to this place each year.

Day 11: Houseboat
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the boat Jetty to board the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. The backwaters of Kerala is a unique product of Kerala and is found no where else in the world. A glide in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. You’re in a watery universe, so quiet, even you can hear your own blood pumping around your head. Sparkling greens, emerald backwaters, coir-laden houseboats and magical beauty heals your mind and body as you travel to surreal Kerala.

Day 12: Houseboat - Kovalam (176 kms. – 05 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Kovalam beach. Kovalam is known as the "Paradise of the South". This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination. Reach & check in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore on your own to see how the everlasting sea touches the everlasting sky. Kovalam is the place where one can see the golden sand at the day time & silver sand in the night. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlight nights.

Day 13 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, "the city of Ananthan", the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan's Puram (City). Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the name Kuthiramalika means 'palace of horses' derived from the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the exterior walls. Veli Tourist Village, which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Shangumugham Beach where one can watch the amazing sunset.

Day 14: Kovalam - Trivandrum (20 kms. – 45 mins.)
