
The narrow strip of fertile land, Kerala fall on the southern belt of
India and is a nature’s paradise. The green mass of landscape is to the south of
the Indian peninsula nestled between the western ghats in the east and the vast
Arabian sea in the west. Rightly named as God’s Own Country, the little piece of
green land originated out from a long process of lightning in geological
terms.
Legends opined that Parasurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord
Vishnu, the preserver among the Hindu Trinity stood on a mountain in the western
ghats, threw his axe in to the depth of the sea and commanded the sea to give
way. As a consequence the mass of land that emerged from the waters came to be
known as Kerala.
Emerald in shape, this small but totally green and
fertile crescent land has dense jungles with rare wildlife, some of the best
beaches, mountains, lake and natural resources not to be found any where in the
world. The sahya mountain ranges rise to an average of 1520 meters with few
peaks that measures up to 2400 meters. The country side seems like a canopy in
green and its backwaters with the cash crop offers a scintillating tour in the
waters on the Kettuvalams. The land of Kathakali dance, the captivating land is
alive with innumerable festivals and proud to have some of the best and
developed cities in terms of tourism or industrialization.

placed in the the Kannan Devan hills is a small hill station located to the
eastern part of Kerala. The hill station is situated at an altitude of 1524m
above sea level and lies 130 kms east of Kochi and borders the state of Tamil
Nadu. Famous for the lush greenery surroundings, Munnar is extremely beautiful
and is considered the heaven of peace and tranquility. The amalgamation of the
three mountain streams namely the Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala makes it a
wonderful hill resort of the country.

popular as Thiruvananthapuram, Trivandrum is the gateway to one of the most
exciting back water destination in south India. The city stretches along the
southern coastal region of the peninsula of India and has been nicknamed as the
City of Serpent. The city in its structure can be compared with Rome as it is a
paradise located on seven low lying hills.The city abounds with greenery and its
ancient history dates back to about 1000 BC.
